A brief through back: The right to life of PalestiniansThere has long been a call for a peaceful resolution to the Israel-Palestine conflict, but neither the UN nor the world's superpower have taken significant action to allay Palestinian concerns or hold Israel responsible for the crimes and atrocities it has committed against the defenseless Palestinian people.
This is not the first instance of Israeli violence against the Gaza population that has resulted in fatalities and destruction. Still, it has been a long time since such a fierce and relentless assault has been carried out by the Zionist regime. Among the principal victims of Israel's most recent military action are women and children. THE forcible eviction of Palestinians from their homes in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, as well as the ongoing harassment The recent weeks have seen a justifiable worldwide outcry, made much louder this time around by the internet's ability to unite people. These events include the violent confiscation of Palestinians' homes in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, ongoing harassment of Palestinians and the apartheid imposed on them in occupied Palestine, and the indiscriminate killing of Palestinians in Gaza by Israel's military.
Witnessing the horrific scenes of tiny children's bodies being excavated from the wreckage offers a window into Israel's barbarism. In an apparent attempt to restrict reportage of its atrocities, Israeli jets have destroyed a high-rise structure housing international media offices and targeted homes, refugee camps, hospitals and even school buildings. Some analysts claim that not even the Israeli invasion of Gaza in 2014 saw this degree of devastation. Without a doubt, Israel has committed war crimes with its bombardment of Gaza, which has primarily targeted civilians.
There have been thousands of Palestinians forced to flee. Many of the inhabitants are from families that were compelled by Israeli soldiers to leave Palestinian villages in 1948. The anniversary of the Nakba, or the disaster, which commemorated their initial dispossession more than seven decades ago, falls on the same day as the recent horrors.
Israel has been fighting the Palestinians for a long time, and this is just their latest move.
Although the most recent wave of Israeli assaults has mostly affected Gaza, other parts of the occupied territories have also seen bloodshed. The Israeli government has attempted to defend its military operation in Gaza by claiming that it is retaliating for rocket attacks on its territory by Hamas. However, this is not at all accurate. Israel's decision to forcibly remove Palestinian families from their homes in occupied East Jerusalem was the catalyst for the most recent spate of unrest.
The Palestinian nationalist movement saw the emergence of Hamas in 1987 as a "Islamist" branch, and the two organisations have had a tumultuous history. Since its founding in 1964, the PLO has, of course, functioned as an umbrella organisation for a number of secular Palestinian nationalist groups. Fatah, led by the late Yasser Arafat, was historically the largest component party of the PLO. At first, the PLO engaged in military operations against Israel and had a very aggressive outlook. The extreme Arab nationalist regimes in Egypt, Iraq, Syria, and Libya, as well as the former Soviet Union, provided assistance to numerous factions that made up the group.
Families in Palestine have long faced the prospect of being forced to leave their homes, but in recent weeks, radical Jewish organizations have escalated their harassment of them and organized inflammatory marches with the tacit consent of the right-wing Israeli government. They are occupying Palestinian properties forcibly under a dubious legality. The Palestinian population's fundamental human rights are being colonized and usurped by Israel as part of a larger campaign that includes forced evictions.
In an effort to alter the demographics of the occupied territories, Jewish colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem have grown quickly over time. In the meantime, the nearly two million Palestinians who live in confined spaces are finding it more and more difficult to survive due to the ongoing blockade of Gaza.
Additionally, the racism and apartheid practices of Israel towards its Palestinian population have been a source of simmering tension that has finally erupted. It could be the start of a fresh intifada. Israel intentionally pursues an ethnic cleansing program with the goal of driving out the Arab populace.
It's important to consider Israel's most recent conduct in context. Actually, it's an extension of what Palestinian scholar Rashid Khalidi and
One cannot see Israel's most recent conduct in a vacuum. As Columbia University professor and Palestinian academic Rashid Khalidi has put it, it is really a continuation of The Hundred Years' War against Palestine. Following the origins of the Palestinian tragedy, Khalidi's groundbreaking work highlights that this war has features peculiar to a colonial operation.
Forcing the whole Palestinian people to leave is Israel's primary goal. Perhaps much more vicious than the last Nakba, a new one is currently in action. The Israeli state is now under more pressure to finish colonizing the entire occupied land thanks to unconditional external assistance from its Western allies, especially the United States.
Even though the US has consistently supported Israel's bellicosity, the Trump administration allowed Tel Aviv free rein to pursue Israeli expansionism. It gave the go-ahead for Israel to build new settlements in the occupied territories and directed the relocation of its embassy to Jerusalem. The two-state solution, which calls for an independent Palestinian state to exist alongside the Jewish state, was all but destroyed by Trump. At the same time, Israeli bellicosity increased noticeably.
Additionally, Trump succeeded in getting some Muslim nations to acknowledge Israel, which encouraged it to intensify its colonial rule. The political and economic repression of the Palestinian people has significantly increased during the last few years. Strangely, the most recent destruction of Gaza and the extermination of the Palestinian people occurred after certain Gulf nations chose to to recognize Israel last year.
As anticipated, the administration transition hasn't changed America's unwavering support for Israel. The Biden administration is nonetheless shameless about the most recent Israeli aggression and the deaths of defenceless women and children in Gaza, even though it may be taking a more nuanced stance than its predecessor. Washington did not even ask for a ceasefire, let alone denounce the cruelty of Israeli jets bombarding Gaza's civilian population—President Bden "expressed his support for a ceasefire" only after the fact. For several days, it prevented the UN Security Council meeting, allowing Israel to carry on with its offensive. Moreover, declarations by the UN Security Council urging a ceasefire were vetoed by the Biden administration.
The decision to pursue a ceasefire rested with the parties, according to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. It was implied by the comment that Israel has no reason to stop the fighting and try to resolve the issue.
The bright side is that there is growing public support for Palestinian rights in the US and other Western nations. The hashtag #PalestinianLivesMatter has gained popularity. But will that be enough to deter Israel's aggression and attempts to annex more Palestinian land?

In the face of Israeli brutality, the Palestinian people have remained unwavering. However, in order to keep up the struggle for their rights, they require assistance from the global community. If Israeli colonization is not ended and the Palestinian people's right to their own state is not acknowledged, there will never be peace in the region.
Protests for solidarity must be accompanied by actionable activities.
This momentum needs to keep going. People need to put pressure on their governments to reconsider their relationship with Israel in light of the brazen violations of 225 UN Security Council resolutions over Palestine and the egregious human rights crimes the state has been perpetrating against the Palestinian people. Millions of people have come to rallies around the world in support of freedom.
A powerful remedy, the Boycott, Divest, Sanctions (BDS) movement spearheaded by Palestinians calls for a financial boycott of Israel in order to put a stop to its brutal treatment of Palestinians and violations of international human rights legislation. This involves putting pressure on states to renounce their military ties and business dealings with Israel and to boycott Israeli and other foreign companies' items that are used by Palestinians who have been taken and used by Israeli settlements for profit.
The website of BDS lists a number of companies, including a technology company that created the biometric ID system that Israel uses to enforce its apartheid policies, a construction company that has manufactured bulldozers specifically for Israel to destroy Palestinian homes and infrastructure, a sports brand that has sponsored Israeli football teams, including those in illegal settlements, and a company that manufactures food products in factories on stolen Palestinian land.
In support of the Palestinian people, a number of governments, businesses, organizations, and individuals have adopted BDS initiatives. The largest sovereign wealth fund in the world, Norway's, has announced that it will sell its holdings in two companies that are connected to Israel's unlawful settlements in the West Bank's occupied Palestinian territory. One of the smallest nations, the Maldives, said that relations with Israel would be suspended amid calls to ban Israeli travellers from the island nation.
Along with advocating for the Palestinians' "right to self-determination and establishment of independent state with pre-1967 borders and Jerusalem as capital," Pakistan's government needs to collaborate with the private sector to launch an economic boycott of businesses that Palestinian activists have identified as having aided and abetted Israel's settler-colonial apartheid state in oppressing the Palestinian people.
The Pakistani government should draw attention to the Palestine issue in the same way that it is drawing attention to the Kashmir issue, as young people in Pakistan are gravely concerned about Israeli atrocities in occupied Palestine and Indian aggressiveness in India-held Kashmir. The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the United Nations were under direct or indirect US control. Both international entities were acting in an unsatisfactory manner as a result. Crimes against humanity were being committed by Palestinians.

Under the UN and OIC's supervision, Palestinians were committing crimes against humanity in Palestine, but none of these international institutions took any action to stop Israel or protect the Palestinian people.
There is not a single Palestinian identified in IS or al-Qaeda troops, and the Palestinians are not a part of the threats posed by the Israeli state or al-Qaeda. A win for Arab moderation would involve achieving Palestinian statehood based on the 1967 borders, coexisting peacefully and securely alongside Israel, and receiving support from the international community. Fundamentalism gains ground when the Palestinian cause is sidestepped due to threats from Hamas, al-Qaeda, or the Islamic State.
